Spike’s first book of poems, “Silly Verse for Kids” was released. It begins “this book is dedicated to my bank balance”. In the one paragraph forward he says: “No matter what you say, my kids think I’m brilliant”. Spike said of his first published book of poems: “I think I have stayed a child all my life, that’s why I get on much easier with children - it’s like having a captive fairy, all that gurgling laughter that comes out if you do the right things.”
