“There’s a Lot of it About” broadcast on BBC - included Spike with his face blackened and lips whitened dressed in women’s clothing. Also jokes directed at Sikhs, the Irish, the Chinese and Jews. It was considered to be in “the worst possible taste” by some viewers and the BBC did not commission another series.
