Sean Milligan born, Spike’s second child. Spike also bought a 1929 Austin soft-top from Peter Sellers that became the family car. It was called “Little Min” after Minnie Bannister. The fifth series of the Goon Show began. Spike was again hospitalised: “suffering from nervous debility and unable to follow his occupation”. He kept writing the scripts.
