Spike celebrated his 70th birthday. He sold Monkenhurst and moved to Rye. He and Shelagh spent a year looking for a new home and finally they purchased “Carpenters” where Shelagh lived until late 2004. This house is the location for the Christmas videos that Sile took. It is in Dumbwoman’s Lane.
