“The Bible according to Spike Milligan” was published. It became a bestseller. He did many others in the “according to” series including “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”, Wuthering Heights”, “Black Beauty”, “Robin Hood”, “The Hound of the Baskervilles” and very appropriately “Treasure Island”.
