Spike moved the family to Monkenhurst, a Victorian mansion in North London which he spent time and money restoring to its former glory. It became a beloved home for Paddy and the children. (Jane and Sile took filmmaker Cathy Henkel to see this house on the second anniversary of Spike’s death.)
